Suzuki Kizashi surges ahead in Sales
Year to date sales of Suzuki’s outstanding Kizashi sports saloon in Queensland, are up more than 30 percent over last year according to independent industry sales auditor, VFACTS.
And the massive increase is despite total sales in Queensland’s medium car segment being down 3.2 percent in year to date figures.
The increase consolidates Kizashi’s position as a top 10 seller in Queensland’s medium car segment.
Nationally, Kizashi sales are up 10.3 percent year to date.
Suzuki’s Queensland General Manager, Mr Adam Le Fevre said: “While the company is highly respected internationally for its expertise in compact vehicles and four-wheel-drives, the Kizashi was very much a new and more sophisticated manufacturing direction for Suzuki.”
“It was a direction that obviously was going to take some time to achieve sales traction.”
“But as more and more people see it on Queensland roads and have a look at the overall packaging, the aggressive pricing and its performance, a slingshot effect is being created.”
“That slingshot effect is seeing Kizashi streaking past the overall performance of the medium car segment.”
“And we still have December’s sales figures to extend the lead even further – something which is happening every day.”
