Martin the swiftest of them all to secure his new model sport

Meet Martin Howe from Wynnum - a staunch Suzuki advocate, (he's owned four), who also was the first person in Queensland and possibly Australia, to purchase the new Suzuki Swift Sport.

"I read the media reports about its launch here and called up the dealership - that was on the Monday; I paid for it on the Tuesday and collected it on the Wednesday," Martin said.

"I was at the dealership signing the paperwork as the first Sport was being delivered to them on the truck - I would have taken it right there and then, but obviously it needed the pre-delivery work done."

"At the time I owned a 2009 Swift and before that, a Swift Cino that covered 287,000km with just regular servicing and two Mighty Boys before that."

As a long time truck driver - even his email address starts with BlackMack - Martin welcomes the opportunity to get into something more manoeuvrable and literally couldn't wait to secure his new Sport.

"I'm so rapt," Martin said.

"I've had so many comments about it - one group even asked me if I had built the car myself, but I just showed them the Sport badge on the back and explained that's how they come."

"They asked about the smokey coloured headlight covers - I said that's standard."

"They asked about the sports exhaust - I told them that's part of the package as well - they just couldn't believe it."

"That's the thing - Suzuki is on a real winner again."

"They are just so good - I think Suzuki is the most under-rated car going. The way they are engineered, the way they go forever, the things that they put into them for the price ..."

"It looks a mean, tough little car, like it has come straight off the track," Martin said.

Martin opted for the Champion Yellow - a motorsport-inspired livery that is a major head-turner.

"I had a Blaze Red Swift before this one. That was a good colour, but this Champion Yellow is straight from the track - it draws people into have a closer look," Martin said.
