Suzuki Auto Co. (Queensland distributor of Suzuki motor vehicles) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mayfairs W'Sale Pty Ltd.

In 1959 the company directors sent a representative to Japan to seek a suitable quality product to sell in the Queensland & Northern Rivers NSW market and so the relationship with Suzuki began. Finally in 1960 the first Suzuki motorcycles exported from Japan to anywhere, landed in Brisbane. The ship then continued to New Zealand with their first shipment of Suzuki motorcycles.

In mid 1974 the first Suzuki vehicles arrived in Queensland, it was the 540cc 3 cylinder two stroke four wheel drive. Suzuki Auto Co. was born. Amazingly Suzuki Auto Co. was selling around one hundred cars a month of that first LJ50 - initially with one model, one colour - value for money has always been, as it is today, the top consideration for Suzuki.

Suzuki in Queensland & Northern Rivers NSW has come a long way from those small beginnings through dedication to supplying the market with a quality product which is extremely good value for money, backed by a dedicated professional dealer network. Suzuki Auto Co. is proud to be the first privately owned Suzuki distributor in the world outside of Japan, and proud to provide the Queensland & Northern Rivers NSW market with the Suzuki product.
